Zac is born in a working-class family in the 1960s. His childhood is fairly happy. He lives with his four brothers a succession of family gatherings with Aznavour's music playing in the background. Zac shares a special link with his father. Trying to avoid breaking this link, he will try to deny his homosexuality dating one of his old girlfriends.
Surprising and well-awarded comedy produced by a cinematographically dynamic country.

The rise and fall of the legendary boxer Jake la Motta. The movie portrays his early escape from misery, becoming the middleweight world champion and his decline, turned into his own caricature.
Scorsese's masterpiece, recorded in an astonishing black and white, and mute witness of the Academy's disdain to him not awarding it with a more than deserved award. Best Actor Oscar for Robert de Niro.

A merciless movie that portrays the relationship between two young men with different origins and mentalities, and denounces the ways of the ideological dogmatisms at the service of the state.

MHistorical adaptation to silent cinema of the Gaston Leroux novel, featuring Lon Chaney, the man of a thousand faces.
The screening at Sala Montjuïc will feature the Liceu Orchestra playing during the movie.

Leonard does not know who his friends are; he even ignores who he is himself. But he has a goal to achieve: find his wife's murderer and avenge her. But to do so he has to overcome the obstacles of amnesia, which makes him forget his immediate memories. In order to remember essential facts he documents himself with Polaroid and tattoos.
Film narrated with inverse chronology through a series of flashbacks. Awarded many prizes, the movie gave impulse to the career of Christopher Nolan, one of the most interesting filmmakers in the USA.

The eccentric professor Abronsius and his young assistant Fred depart to Transylvania to prove right the theories of the scientist, that claim the existence of vampires. The region's inhabitants ignore the existence of vampires, although they are neighbours of the sinister Count Von Krolock.
Polanski pays homage to the vampire sub-genre with humorous tone, with a worrying atmosphere, memorable music and outstanding interpretation of Sharon Tate.

Cult film, of suggestive sensuality, that made the director's fame transcend all over the world, turning him in an icon of the diverse and refreshing cinema that comes from the Asia.

Second work of the young director Isaki Lacuesta, that evokes Camaron de la Isla with a narrative language that follows the path of the most innovative current cinema.
